In 1977 the two Voyager spacecrafts were sent into space with two identical phonographs called the Golden records.
These records encompass sounds and images carefully chosen to represent the richness of life and culture on Earth. Considered as time capsules, the records are intended to illustrate any intelligent extraterrestrial life form who may find them.
